At Rain City Athletics, we believe that every athlete has the potential to be great. We are committed to providing our athletes with the highest quality training and instruction so that they can reach their full potential.
Our basketball program is designed to help young athletes improve their skills, strength, and conditioning. We focus on teaching the fundamentals of the game, as well as developing the mental toughness and competitive edge that is needed to succeed.
Our strength training program is designed to help young athletes build strength and learn how to apply it to athletic movements. We use a variety of exercises and training techniques to help our athletes reach their strength goals.

Our Trainers
Drew Bryson - Head Basketball Trainer
Drew is a lifelong basketball player. He group up playing for Arlington feeder teams then Arlington High School where he was a 4-year letterman and the third all-time leading scorer. He was named the 2017 3A WESCO MVP in his senior season. Drew started his college career off at Simon Fraser University (NCAA D2) and ended it at Northwest University (NAIA) for his final year of eligibility averaging 14 points per game. Drew has learned from a wide variety of prestigious coaches that have helped him become a true student of the game.
Drew wants to help improve the level of basketball in the Snohomish County area. He is motivated by players that will take the game as seriously as he has. Drew knows what it takes to earn a full-ride scholarship for basketball and wants to share that knowledge with players that are willing to learn. He has spent the last five years mentoring young athletes as a coach with various AAU programs and training hundreds of athletes with Rain City Athletics.
Aaron Carlson - Head Personal Trainer
Aaron grew up playing basketball, in high school he was a two-year varsity letter at Arlington High School and helped lead them to two deep playoff runs. Soon after graduating high school, Aaron started to get into strength training and realized this was the missing link in his basketball career.
He realized a need to help youth athletes find the weight room to help them reach the next level. Aaron is a certified personal trainer with a sports-specific specialist. He focuses on building strength and learning how to apply it to athletic movements. His love for the sport of basketball has taken him into coaching and training to help the next generation of athletes be better. Aaron has spent the last several years coaching AAU basketball for D1-Elite and the Arlington feeder program on top of being a successful basketball trainer with Rain City Athletics.
